Pinball Machines for Sale Delivered Anywhere in Australia

Looking for a pinball machine for sale that’s actually worth the money? That’s the whole idea behind ArcadeVault. We’re an Australian-owned pinball dealer selling new and used machines to home collectors, games rooms, and businesses right across the country — Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Hobart, Darwin, and everywhere in between.

Every machine that leaves our warehouse has been checked over properly. Not “wiped down and photographed” checked over — playfield tested, flippers adjusted, rubbers replaced where needed, and the electronics run through a proper diagnostic. If something’s not right, we fix it before it’s listed, not after you’ve called us to complain.

Why People Buy Their Pinball Machine From Us

We’re not the biggest pinball dealer in Australia, and we’re not trying to be. What we’re trying to be is the dealer you’d actually recommend to a mate.

  • Every machine is properly serviced, not just cleaned. Playfield, flippers, coils, and boards checked before it ships — we’ll tell you exactly what was done.
  • Real prices, upfront. No “contact us for pricing” games. You’ll see what things cost before you waste an afternoon emailing back and forth.
  • We deliver Australia-wide. Doesn’t matter if you’re in a Melbourne apartment or a property outside Alice Springs — we’ve shipped machines to both.

We’ll tell you if a machine isn’t right for you. If you’re after your first table for a family games room, we’re not going to sell you a temperamental 1970s electromechanical machine that needs constant attention. We’ll say so.

What You'll Pay for a Pinball Machine in Australia

Pricing in this hobby is genuinely confusing, so here's the honest breakdown:

Type Typical Price (AUD) What you're getting
Used, project/parts machine $500 – $1,800 Working or near-working, cosmetic wear, good for a DIY restoration
Used, fully serviced $2,500 – $4,500 Ready to play the day it arrives, warranty included
Restored collector machine $5,000 – $10,000+ Rare or in-demand title, new artwork/playfield clearcoat, near-showroom condition
Brand new (Stern base models) $7,000 – $9,500 Manufacturer warranty, latest ruleset, zero plays
Brand new (limited/premium editions) $10,000 – $16,000+ Premium/LE hardware, collector value, extended features

How to Choose the Right Pinball Machines

A few honest things worth knowing before you buy your first table:

Size and weight matter more than people expect

A standard pinball machine is roughly 132cm long, 74cm wide, and 168cm tall once the backbox is up, and weighs somewhere between 90kg and 140kg depending on the era and manufacturer. Measure your doorways and stairwells before you buy, not after delivery.

Electromechanical (EM) vs solid-state vs modern

Older EM machines (pre-1978ish) run on relays and switches — charming, but parts can be genuinely hard to source, and they need an owner who doesn’t mind a bit of tinkering. Solid-state machines (late ’70s through the ’90s) are the sweet spot for most home buyers: simpler electronics, wide parts availability, huge range of themes. Modern machines (2010s onward) add LCD screens, better rulesets, and sturdier builds, but cost more. If this is your first machine, solid-state or modern is almost always the easier choice.

H3: Ask what “serviced” actually means “Fully serviced” should mean the playfield’s been tested under real play, switches and flippers adjusted, and any known fault fixed — not just that someone plugged it in and it lit up. Always ask.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes — most buyers looking for a pinball machine for sale are furnishing a home games room rather than a commercial venue. A solid-state or modern machine is generally the easiest to live with day to day, since parts are easy to find and the electronics are more reliable than older electromechanical models.
