Warranty Policy

Last updated: 01/01/2026

At Arcade Vault, we sell high-quality new and used arcade machines, pinball machines, parts, and accessories. We want every customer to feel confident when purchasing from us, and we aim to be clear about warranty coverage, customer responsibilities, and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

1. Australian Consumer Law

Our products and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in this Warranty Policy limits, excludes, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.

If a product or service has a fault or does not meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, cancellation, or other remedy depending on the circumstances.

2. Warranty Coverage

Warranty coverage may vary depending on the product, condition, manufacturer, supplier, and whether the item is new, used, restored, refurbished, custom-built, or modified.

Where applicable, your purchase may include one or more of the following:

  • Manufacturer warranty

  • Supplier warranty

  • Arcade Vault warranty

  • Service warranty

Warranty details, coverage, duration, and exclusions will be confirmed where applicable at the time of purchase.

3. New Products

New arcade machines, pinball machines, parts, and accessories may include a manufacturer or supplier warranty.

The warranty period and coverage will depend on the product and manufacturer terms. Please contact us if you would like to confirm warranty details before purchasing.

4. Used, Restored, or Refurbished Products

Used, restored, and refurbished machines are sold based on their age, condition, and any details disclosed before purchase.

These machines may show signs of normal use, wear, cosmetic marks, or age-related characteristics. Any known major condition details will be communicated where practical before purchase.

Warranty coverage for used, restored, or refurbished machines may differ from new products and will be confirmed where applicable.

5. What Is Not Covered

Warranty coverage may not apply to:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Cosmetic marks or minor imperfections disclosed before purchase

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accident, or improper handling

  • Damage caused by moisture, heat, pests, dust, direct sunlight, or unsuitable storage

  • Damage caused by power issues, surges, or unsuitable power supply

  • Unauthorised repairs, modifications, tampering, or alterations

  • Damage during customer-arranged transport, relocation, or third-party handling

  • Faults caused by third-party parts, accessories, or services

  • Commercial use where the product was sold for domestic use only, unless agreed otherwise

6. Customer Responsibilities

To help protect your machine and maintain any applicable warranty, you are responsible for:

  • Using the product safely and only for its intended purpose

  • Keeping the product indoors unless it is clearly stated to be suitable for outdoor use

  • Protecting the product from water, moisture, heat, dust, pests, direct sunlight, and power surges

  • Using an appropriate power supply and surge protection

  • Following any care instructions provided

  • Preventing misuse, tampering, unauthorised repairs, or modifications

Damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper handling, unsuitable environment, unauthorised modifications, power issues, relocation damage, or third-party repairs may not be covered by warranty.

7. Commercial Use

If a product is purchased for commercial use, including use in venues, offices, events, hire businesses, entertainment spaces, or public locations, warranty coverage may be affected.

Commercial use can involve higher wear and tear, different maintenance needs, and different service requirements. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, products sold for domestic use may not be covered for commercial operation.

8. Making a Warranty Claim

If you believe there is an issue with your product, please contact Arcade Vault as soon as possible.

Please email us at sales@arcadevault.com.au and include:

  • Your name

  • Order number or invoice number

  • A clear description of the issue

  • Photos or videos showing the issue where possible

  • Your contact details and location

We may need to inspect the product before confirming the appropriate remedy.

9. Inspection and Assessment

Before approving a warranty claim, Arcade Vault may need to inspect, test, or assess the product.

If the issue is covered by warranty or Australian Consumer Law, we will discuss the appropriate remedy with you, which may include repair, replacement, refund, or another suitable solution depending on the circumstances.

If the issue is not covered by warranty, we may provide a quote for repair, parts, servicing, delivery, or inspection costs where applicable.

10. Delivery, Transport, and Relocation

Warranty does not cover damage caused during customer-arranged freight, courier services, movers, relocation, or third-party collection.

If you arrange your own transport, Arcade Vault is not responsible for damage, loss, delay, or mishandling that occurs after the product leaves our possession.
